Walking in Grace, Guided by Truth

Hello friend.  I’m so glad you’re here.

Grace in Process was born out of my own story of drifting and returning—of finding God again after years of seeking comfort in all the wrong places.

Today I’m a writer, student of theology and psychology, and a woman learning daily what it means to let grace lead.

My mission is simple: to help others turn from false idols and rediscover the healing, peace, and joy that only God can give.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.”

My Journey from Faith to Alcohol and Back Again

There was a season when alcohol was my comfort, my coping, and my counterfeit peace. What began as a social habit quietly became a spiritual burden.

God uses every moment, even the messy ones.

In those years, I drifted from the faith I’d known since childhood. Wine replaced worship, and I looked for joy in places that could never truly hold it.

In 2020, God in His mercy interrupted my path with an invitation to freedom. That began a long year of wrestling—a season of false starts and new beginnings.

I would commit to abstaining for a time, then convince myself I could handle “just one.” Each reset felt like another Day One. Through every stumble, God stayed. He was patient in my process, gently showing me that moderation wasn’t freedom.

Real Life, Renewed Joy

Finally, on November 11, 2021, I surrendered completely—my last “Day One.” Since then, my life has been transformed: peace replacing chaos, clarity replacing confusion, grace replacing guilt.

Through my healing season, God placed a new calling on my heart—to understand both His Word and how He designed the human mind. I’m now pursuing advanced study in theology and psychology to help others find lasting freedom through faith and science.

These days, my life looks delightfully ordinary—walks with my dogs, stacks of books, quiet mornings with Scripture and hot tea. Even in those ordinary moments, I am reminded that God meets us just as we are and guides us toward who we’re meant to be.

A Final Note from Holly

I once searched for peace in a glass, found it instead at the foot of the cross, and now walk daily in gratitude and grace.

If you’re craving comfort, clarity, or renewed faith, my prayer is that these words remind you:

My daily walks with Coco and Winnie—pure joy!

Grace is not a destination—it’s a daily process, and you’re already in it.

With love,
